ABC, Annapurna Base Camp trek has become renowned as one of the most spectacular trekking routes in the world which offers some of the most spectacular mountain scenery, providing a fascinating insight into the modern hill life of Nepal. This trek attracts a large number of tourists because they find everything the Himalayas have to offer, accessible along a selection of well-maintained trails that snake in and around the 55-kilometer Annapurna massif, separated from the gargantuan Dhaulagiri (8167m) by the Kaligandaki, the deepest gorge in the world.

The trek to Annapurna base camp starts from Nayapul following the Modi River and passing through dense stands of rhododendron and bamboo: Ghandruk, Chhomrong, Dovan, Deurali, and finally Annapurna Base Camp via Machhapuchhre Base Camp. You get plenty of time to explore the vicinity of Base Camp. We then trek back to Nayapul passing the village like Bamboo and Jhinu Danda.


Accommodation

After arrival in Kathmandu, we will transfer to your hotel, which is in the peaceful street on the edge of Thamel. We provide you with a deluxe room with a private bathroom and balcony, a Tea/Coffee maker, and toiletries. However, we have the Crystal Palace in Pokhara, near Phewa Lake. These hotels are 3-star categories by the government of Nepal. The above package price includes a 3-star category hotel however we also provide 4-star and 5-star hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara. But during the trek, there is only Tea House/Lodge which doesn’t have any facilities except the twin bed. All the rooms are in “twin share”. Single supplementary will charge $200 extra. In Kathmandu and Pokhara, the hotels have 24/7 receptions while the trekking recitations are closed after 9-10 pm. In some places during trekking, we have private bathrooms but in some areas, there is only a shared bathroom. The entire place has a 24/7 hot water facility but during tea house in the trek, it is chargeable.


c>Meals


For meals we provide Buffet Breakfast in Kathmandu and Pokhara which is included in the cost. We also serve lunch and dinner from our hotel restaurant where you must pay for yourself. However, during trekking, we provide three meals per day (i.e. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner per day) from the selected menu available in the lodge and tea house. Food during the trek is not so well decorated as Kathmandu and Pokhara however; most of the food is prepared by the local people in their fields. The food is organic, delicious, and quite healthy. We also offer a Welcome and Farewell dinner with our agency team leader with a traditional cultural dance program in Kathmandu.

Day 1 : Arrival, transfer to Hotel

According to your flight detail, you will be greeted by our representative at international airport with your name and Himalayan Club Tours and Travel written on it. Then, we will assist you in transfer to Hotel where you are be welcomed by tea/coffee. At evening we have a welcome dinner organized by our team to get to know each other. Overnight at Kathmandu

Day 2 : Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trek Preparation

After short introduction with our tour guide, today we are having tour to Kathmandu UNESCO world heritage site with our tour guide which include Pashupatinath Temple “Nepal biggest Hindu temple” it is also place for the body crimination of Hindu religion. Then we drive to Bouddhanath Stupa whch is nearby Pashupatinath temple. Bouddhanath is Asian biggest stupa. It was damage by earthquake on 2015 AD however, it is completely repaired recently. Then after we drive to Swayambhunath Stupa, popularly known by “monkey temple” this stupa is on the small where we can see the whole Kathmandu valley from there. At last we drive to Patan durbar square, “Ancient Royal Palace”. Inside the square you can see different Hindu temple which are Bhimsen temple, Vishwonath temple, Taleju Bhawani temple and Krishna Temple which is most popular temple among them. Beside it you can study the Newar architecture, arts and their culture where, our tour guide help you to describe about its history of every place. At evening we have a meeting with our trekking guide and make our trekking preparation. And check our equipment for trekking. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 3 : Kathmandu to Pokhara [823m/2,700ft]: 6 hrs drive

After taking a packed breakfast at hotel, we drive to second touristic area of Nepal “Pokhara”. It is also popularly known as lake side city. We departed at around 7 am in the morning form tourist bus park of Kathmandu. We follow the Prithivi Highway for Pokhara. We drive for 6 – 7 hours with twice a lunch and tea break on the way. While driving to Pokhara we drive by the bank of Trishuli River and also can see the amazing panorama of river with green hills. Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 4 : Drive to Nayapul and trek to Ulleri (1,577m/5,173 ft), 1 hr drive and 4 hrs walk

We drive to Nayapul after having breakfast at our hotel. From where we start our trek, after having tea and trek preparation we walk through the small gurung village toward Birathanti “first check-in point” After showing trekking document we walk forward to hills by following the muddy and little dusty road where we stop for our lunch. From hills we have walk through more than 4000 stone steps trial. We have to walk by the village and bircha forest. After walking more than 3 hours hill steps we will be at Ulleri (2020m). Overnight at Ulleri.

Day 5 : Trek to Ghorepani (2,850m/9,350ft). 5-6 hrs walks

The day start with hot tea and coffee with breakfast at tea house, then we walk forward to Ghorepani. You have to walk through stone step uphill and we pass through rhododendron and oak forest. We can also see small Mt. Annapurna while walking to Ghorepani. After walking through forest and crossing some amazing bridge and water fall we stop somewhere for tea break we finally reach Ghorepani. Ghorepani is one of the most popular and busy village in Annapurna region. You can find some local food and product which was made by local people. If you are trekking in the best season you will observe the area is enclose with snow. Overnight at Ghorepani.

Day 6 : Poon hill hike and trek to Tadapani (2540m/8332ft), 6-7 hrs walk

Early in the morning we walk to Poonhill view point (3210m), takes around 45 minute uphill walk form Ghorepani. And be ready to watch sunrise over Mt.Annapurna I, Annapurna south, Dhaulagiri, Fistail and other peaks with its range. We spend some hours at unforgettable moment of life and take some photo video and some hot tea/coffee. Then we walk back to Ghorepani where we have hour breakfast. From here we walk to tadapani, passing through the Rhododendron forest. We walk downhill tada pani with the stunning view of Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Fistail and green forest. Stay overnight at Tadapani.

Day 7 : Trek to Chhomrong (2,210m/7,249 ft), 5-6 hrs walk

Trek leads through downhill between the rhododendron wooden forests, hiking form 5-6 hours and crossing 3/4 hills, walking up and down hill in a stone step we will be at Chhomrong village. This is village of gurung community. Overnight at Chhomrong.

Day 8 : Chhomrong to Dovan (2580m/8460ft): 6 hrs trek

Having breakfast at lodge then we walk to Dovan village by passing Sinuwa. Sinuwa is the community village where we can see the view of Mt. Annapurna and popular Ghandruk village. We walk forward to our destination following the Modi River and crossing decent Bamboo Rhododendron and Oak Forest. We stay at Bamboo for our lunch and rest. From here we walk Dovan for after walking for one and half hour. Stay overnight at Dovan.

Dovan to Deurali (3230m/10,595ft): 4 hrs trek

Today we hike from 2520m to 3200m so we will feel a little bit tired. We have to walk on straight up steep stairs and huge rock. After crossing the Himalaya and Hinku Cave where we stay for the lunch we reach to Deurali. Stay overnight at Deurali.

Day 10 : Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,545ft) via Machhapuchre Base Camp: 5-6 hrs trek

Today is the most important and memorable day of the trekking we have to walk more the 1000m up from Deurali. We start our journey to Annapurna base camp early in morning. We walk through Birch Forest. We walk to Machhapuchre Base Camp for lunch we enjoy our lunch at the place with the beautiful view of Mt. Machhapuchre (Fish Tail). We spend some hour at the place and see the panoramic view of mountain. Then, we walk to Annapurna Base Camp following the trial. As we go closer to the base camp we see the stunning view of Annapurna South, Annapurna I and so on. Stay overnight at Annapurna Base Camp.

Day 11 : Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2310m/7575ft): 6 hrs trek

We walk up early in the morning to see the sunrise view from Mt. Annapurna. We enjoy the view with hot tea and coffee. We take some memorable photo and video. We start walk back to downhill trek after having breakfast at hotel. We follow the same trial to walk back. We stay overnight at Bamboo.

Day 12 : Bamboo to Jhinu Dada (1760m/5770 ft): 6 hrs trek

From Bamboo we walk straight downhill to Chhomrong. We stay for our lunch and we walk down to Jhinu Dada following the step trial. At afternoon we also have time to enjoy the day in Hot spring near to Dangaki River. We take rest at Jhinu dada and after some hour we walk downhill to Hot spring which is about 30 minute walking from our lodge. All of our tired and pain during the trek will be lost at the time and we feel relief and relax at the time. We spend an hour at the Hot spring and walk back to Lodge. Stay overnight at Jhinu Dada.

Day 13 : Jhinu Dada to Landruk to Pokhara 6 hrs trek, 3 hr driv

Last day of Annapurna Base Camp trekking, we enjoy our walking through the hills and step trials. We crossed the popular suspension bridge in Annapurna Region “New Bridge” and some of the pig and amazing waterfall on the way. Walking by the Modi River and crossing the Dense mixed forest we stay at Landruk, One of the most popular gurung villages where we have our Lunch. From Landruk we take a Local Jeep to Lumle. Then we drive to Pokhara from Lumle by our Private Vehicle. Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 14 : Pokhara - Kathmandu 6-7 hours drive

We drive to Kathmandu early in morning in cozy tourist bus by following the same Prithivi highway. While driving we can see river on the left while high hills on the right side. In evening we have a farewell dinner with our office team leader where you can share your experience about the Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 15 : Departure

Last day in Nepal our office staff will drop you at airport before 2 hours of your actual flight, with some good memory about us and unforgettable memories about trekking.

Refund Policy or Cancellation

Depositing money to us is an indication of readiness to make use of the tour and travel arrangements and accommodation we reserve on your behalf. All cancellations are subject to a certain charge based on estimated losses properly calculated as follows:

  1. If you cancel your trip 91 days to departure, 20% is forfeited.
  2. 61 days to 90 days, 30% of the safari cost is forfeited.
  3. 40 days to 60 days 60% of the tour cost is forfeited.
  4. 31 days to 39 days, 80% of the safari cost is forfeited.
  5. If cancellations are done one month (30 Days) to the trip or No show, 100% of the safari is forfeited.
  6. For payments not paid in full to the date of the departure, and failure of making final payments, reservations will be cancelled and no refund will be availed.
